Mr. Ira L.
Rosen
is EOL's President and CEO. He has almost 30 years of experience
in the special event production field and since founding
EOL in 1989, he has worked with festivals, events, advertising
agencies, governments and other clients around the world.
Many of EOL's clients are among the top names in the entertainment
and sports fields.
Prior to starting
EOL, Mr. Rosen was an executive with Radio City Music Hall
Productions, Inc. for over seven years. He was responsible
for all of the company's procurement and acted as a technical
director for many major special events. At Radio City, he
was a key production staff member for the Citrus Bowl Half-time
Show (1985), the "We The People-200 Parade" (1987),
the Super Bowl Half-time Show (1988), the Bicentennial of
the Presidency (1989), the 100th Anniversary of the Wall
Street Journal and many other major spectaculars. Additionally,
he managed the technical and operational purchasing for
all of the company's divisions, including television, concerts
and theatrical productions, such as the annual Christmas
Spectacular.

Prior to his association
with Radio City, Mr. Rosen worked for several New Jersey
colleges, where he was responsible for planning and executing
entertainment events. In these capacities, he produced over
50 concerts with such artists as Billy Joel, James Taylor,
Hall and Oates and Bruce Springsteen. Additionally, he was
an adjunct faculty member at two colleges, teaching courses
in communications.
Mr. Rosen has
spoken and written extensively on many industry topics including
tourism and the festival industry, corporate sponsorship,
and the operational management of special events, and has
been a featured speaker at conventions for the International
Festivals and Events Association, First Night International,
the Pennsylvania Park and Recreation Society and the National
Association for Campus Activities. He also currently serves
on the New Jersey Governor's Council for the Tourism Industry
Association, is a member of the Board of Directors of the
Garden State Film Festival and is an adjunct faculty member
at Temple University's School of Tourism and Hospitality
Management. In September of 2005, Mr. Rosen was inducted
into the International Festivals and Events Association
Hall of Fame.
Mr. Rosen holds
Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in English/Communications
from Montclair State University in New Jersey.
